The OTA download service enables developers to download their Java applications onto their real LG mobile phones over the air (if supported by the phone) for testing.

To download your application onto your LG mobile phone for testing, follow the steps below:

1. Upload your application

Upload your application onto this site to test it on your LG mobile phone. To upload your application onto this site, click the Upload Your Application button. To track the status of your application uploaded onto this site, click the Track Your Application button. You need to login before you can upload or track your application.

2. Access the download site on your phone and download your application

To download your application, access the LG Mobile Developer Network download site by simply entering the URL, developer.lgmobile.com/wap, in your LG mobile phone web browser and login with the LG Mobile Developer Network user ID and password. It might be beneficial to add this to your Bookmarks list so you don't need to enter the URL every time you visit the download site. Once you login, follow the instructions on your LG mobile phone.

Notes

Your mobile service provider may charge you data-transfer fees for OTA downloads.
Before downloading your application on your phone over the air, you should agree that LG will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your phone that can be caused by downloading your application.
If you can not access the download site, please check whether WAP GPRS is set in your phone. Most phones available in the market are automatically set with WAP GPRS. However, some models may not support automatic settings. Before setting your phone, contact your network operator to see if your handset SIM account supports WAP or not.
